Pakistan has proposed to India that Pakistani delegation may visit New Delhi on March 13, 2019 which will be followed by visit of the Indian side on March 28 to finalise the draft agreement on Kartarpur Corridor. This was announced by Spokesperson Foreign Office Dr Mohammad Faisal through a tweet. He also hoped India to respond positively to the proposal.

"In a spirit of constructive engagement Pakistan has proposed to India that the Pakistan delegation may visit India on March 13 followed by the return visit of the Indian delegation to Pakistan on March 28 to finalise the draft agreement for the Kartarpur Corridor," the spokesperson tweeted.

He further stated: "We look forward to positive reciprocity from India." Pakistan has recently shared a draft of the proposed agreement on Kartarpur Corridor with India and had also invited the Indian government to send its delegation to Islamabad for the talks on the proposal. However, the Indian government in its response invited Pakistani delegation to visit New Delhi for the talks to finalise the draft of the agreement.
